I have been doing Atkins for 16 weeks and I have finally lost the first 20 pounds. For most of the time I have been doing the induction phase. I am really dissappointed that it has taken so darn long. . . .

I have been doing the Atkins diet for a week now and I have not cheated even once! YAY!
Today, I was starting to get cranky though because I have been looking at that darn candy dish on the counter . . .

Yep, I'm still working at it. I am in my 5th week. I have lost 12.5 pounds. My pants are getting looser and I have more energy. I still have some carb longings, but I wouldn't call them cravings.LOL . . .

I am at two and a half weeks. I haven't had candy for three. I am keeping my carbs way low. Even below the 20 allowed. I seem to be stuck between 9 and 10 pounds. I haven't really lost anything . . .

I am still doing Atkins and I just wanted to let you know, it IS working. Although I am not losing weight as fast as the book says is possible, I am losing. In fact I am losing about 2 pounds a week. . . .
